The Victoria Institute has several rooms for hire by the hour or the day.
Got an idea and looking for a venue? Get in touch! All money raised goes directly toward repairing and improving the building for the benefit of all.
Not sure what’s behind the front door? Call in and see, pop along on a Working Group Wednesday or give us a call on 01903 884786 and one of the committee will be happy to show you around.
The Red Room has a stage and flexible audience seating, with lighting and sound equipment. And a bar. It’s used regularly by Drip Action Theatre Company for drama performances, and is suitable for a range of uses including theatre, talks, musical events, parties and discos.
The Front Bar is a sizeable space suitable for various classes and exhibitions. It’s currently being used by Florence and Lisa for their fitness classes, but could be used for a whole range of other activities. From meetings to dance, book groups to table-top sales – what could you use it for?
V-room, the downstairs office, has hot desks to rent, bookable by the hour or the day. Office manager Debbie is usually there, and regular users include local businesses Open House Art and Refried Books – a friendly bunch. There’s BT internet, tea & coffee making facilities and a comfy sofa. Like working from home, but without the distractions.
The downstairs studio is in the process of being repaired. We’ll be honest – it’s basically a shell. That hasn’t stopped it being hired recently by photographer Christian Doyle for an exhibitition during Arundel Gallery Trail or Karin Moorhouse for a Christmas Extravaganza. It just needs a little more love and imagination than the other rooms might.
For all enquiries call 01903 884786 or email firstname.lastname@example.org We’ll be delighted to hear from you.
