Paul Armfield

Paul is a veteran performer from the Isle of Wight with a warm, relaxed stage presence. A songwriter’s songwriter, he has picked up plaudits from the likes of Guy Garvey and Chris Difford. His voice has been compared to Cat Stevens, Tim Hardin and Nick Drake and the music described as Folk Noir.

Louis de Bernières and Emily Rose Smith

World famous author Louis de Bernières (Captain Corelli’s Mandolin) and actress Emily Rose Smith (Goblin Market at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sydmonton Festival) take to the stage to bring you a charming, heart-warming and, oft-times, humorous and satirical look at life and love via songs, readings and poetry.

A Cabaret style evening, the duo will perform original songs written by Louis, interwoven with readings from Louis’ great novels and his collections of poetry. Life-affirming, funny, touching, poignant and sometimes shockingly real, expect a thoroughly enjoyable and heart-warming evening.
